Blog

I’ve come across a few items that I might normally add to the site’s Links section, but since I haven’t actually developed that page yet, I’m going to create this post as a starting point. All of these are also on my public Del.icio.us bookmarks page (along with a bunch of other stuff that interests me). Without further ado:

Hiring a Grant Writer

I found that previous one on Pamela’s Grantwriting Blog. Excellent stuff.

Another blog I really enjoy is Grant Writing Confidential (which I’ve mentioned before).

I’m watching Common Advisor, and still debating, but I love the concept.

The Nonprofit Consultant Blog @ Goldstein Consulting – often helps me with my professional mindset.

There are more, and you can hit the feeds over at the right of the page if you are interested in some of the blogs that I follow closely (you probably already know those are there).

Be free,

Jeff

I would normally just tweet something like this… but I’m practicing not being so ironical. Okay, no I’m not! But here’s some information that came today in the GivingMatters.com newsletter. It was below the fold, so I wanted to publish it here. Cool People Care is a great organization. And the summer camp looks awesome.

I’ll see you there!

Brought to you with support from The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee and GivingMatters.com

Join Cool People Care’s Sam Davidson and Stephen Moseley as they discuss social media and how it relates to nonprofits. Since starting Cool People Care nearly three years ago, Sam and Stephen have been talking about Generation Y, online branding, blogging, Facebook, Twitter, and nearly everything else that might be giving you a headache.

View the camp schedule, and sign up for Social Media Summer Camp today by clicking here. Sessions are $10 each, or $35 for all 8 sessions. Or, bring as many people from your organization to any and all sessions for $99. Sessions are limited to the first 40 registrants. Bring your thinking caps, big questions and fresh ideas and see what happens in just four weeks! All sessions take place at Studio 19 at Scarritt Bennett Center.  For questions or to register offline, contact Sam Davidson at (615) 260-3082.

Be free,
Jeff
